About Humble Crumble
Humble Crumble is the world's first dedicated crumble bakery, founded by Kim, who began selling crumbles at a farmers' market before opening her first permanent stall at Maltby Street Market near Tower Bridge in October 2018. The Bicester Village site is one of five locations, with the others in London at Old Spitalfields Market, Borough Market, Camden Market and Covent Garden. Every crumble is prepared and baked individually by hand on site, using high quality and sustainably sourced ingredients. The flour comes from Wildfarmed, a carbon-negative regenerative farm, the vanilla is sourced from Zazou Emporium, which works with small farmers in Madagascar, and the dairy comes from Northiam Dairy in Sussex. Fruits are hand-picked from New Covent Garden Market each morning. The crumble tubs are 100% biodegradable, and the business is actively working towards reducing waste. Plant-based options are available on the menu, though the kitchen handles eggs and dairy so trace amounts cannot be ruled out. Customers can also buy crumble toppings to take home, including shortbread and chocolate varieties, along with gift cards. Delivery and click and collect are available.
