Corner Cottage Bakery is an independent artisan bakery on Park Street in Leamington Spa, run by owner and head baker Sarah. The business specialises in sourdough breads, cakes, croissants, and patisserie, with products baked fresh throughout the day. The range of sourdough breads includes baguettes and focaccia, all made in house. Cake options are rotated daily to offer variations on old favourites. Alongside its own baked goods, the shop stocks local honey from Red Road Farm, coffee from Monsoon Estates in Stratford-Upon-Avon, DIMOS olive oil from Kalamata in Greece, and flour from Matthews Cotswold Flour. Sarah qualified as a baker after leaving school and spent ten years working in a bakery before studying molecular biology and working as a scientist for over twenty years. She took on the 200-year-old building in September 2020 and spent seven months restoring it before opening. The bakery also runs sourdough baking courses at £150 per person, held over a Saturday and Sunday, covering starter maintenance, mixing, shaping, and baking. Corner Cottage Bakery has a second branch in Kineton, Warwick.
