The Stag At Stow

The Stag At Stow is a traditional pub with 23 rooms set in the historic market town of Stow on the Wold, occupying the main square. The building combines an old coaching inn dating back to the 14th century with a tastefully restored Georgian townhouse, and the Coach House retains two Tudor priest holes upstairs. Inside there is a front bar popular with locals, a lounge, a large back bar in the oldest part of the building, a restaurant, and an extensive al-fresco dining area. The menu is locally sourced and served throughout. Open fires feature throughout the colder months, with plenty of outside dining for warmer evenings. Each bedroom has been individually decorated by a local designer and has its own bathroom, shower or wet room, with larger rooms available in the Coach House. A full breakfast is included when booking rooms through the website or calling the team direct. The family-run boutique accommodation is well placed for exploring the Cotswolds, with Broadway, Chipping Campden, Moreton in Marsh, and Upper and Lower Slaughter all within 15 minutes drive.
