The Limes

The Limes is a family and pet-friendly bed and breakfast on Evesham Road in Stow-on-the-Wold, a four minute walk from the historic market square. The red brick Victorian property was built between 1901 and 1911 and was originally known as Batsford Villas, owned by the Rutland family. It was renamed The Limes in 1926 after the lime trees in the garden. The guest house has been welcoming visitors since 1973, when it was opened by Valerie and Tony Keyte, and is now run by their son Graham with his wife Helen and their two daughters. Graham and Helen can offer lots of advice on where to visit in the local area and can often assist with travel arrangements to and from the railway stations at Moreton-in-Marsh or Kingham. Accommodation includes two family rooms, one with its own private lounge, a four poster bedroom, and en-suite twin and double rooms. The Limes has a private off-road car park at the rear of the house with space for up to five or six cars, and free WiFi is available throughout. Stow-on-the-Wold sits in the heart of the Cotswolds, with Cheltenham, Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon all within roughly a forty minute drive. The town itself has a good selection of restaurants, pubs, takeaways and tea-rooms, along with boutique shops and antique dealers.
