There has been a cafe on this site for well over 70 years, formerly known as the Nelson Cafe, before being renamed the Super Sausage Cafe in the 1970s. It is now family owned and managed by Gail, Chris and son Simon Murray, who bought the cafe in July 2009. The cafe is ideally located between Milton Keynes and Towcester, and is only 10 minutes from the world famous Silverstone race circuit. It has a huge car park with space for over 500 motorbikes, and hosts regular meets and greets for motorcyclists on Sundays throughout the year. The cafe has built relationships with Suzuki GB, Aprilia and Moto Guzzi, who all organise test ride events at the premises. The Super Sausage is a breakfast specialist, selling over 20 tons of bacon and sausages a year, and also offers classic lunch dishes and a steak burger menu with burgers made in house from scratch. No reservations are required. The air conditioned cafe is popular with families at weekends and has a strong following of motorcyclists all year round.
