Seedling Nursery

Seedling Nursery is a daycare provider in the heart of Leamington Spa, situated on Kenilworth Street between Warwick Street and Regent Street. Opened by Priscilla Conway in April 2016, the nursery offers care for children aged from 9 months up to 3 and 4 years. It was rated Outstanding by Ofsted in its 2022 inspection, with the report praising the exceptional quality of education and teaching, and noting that children are happy, secure and confident learners. The nursery describes itself as a home from home environment rather than a corporate setting, which allows it to tailor its service to the needs of each child. Children have access to a large soft play room with climbing frames, balls and large blocks, as well as stimulating learning spaces and well equipped resources. Wholesome home cooked meals and snacks are provided throughout the day. The nursery makes good use of its central location, with regular visits to Jephson Gardens, the Royal Pump Rooms library and community events, while older children enjoy trips to Foundry Woods. Parents stay connected to their child's development through the eyLog online learning journey system, which provides a record of each child's time at the nursery and allows families to interact with staff. Personalised handovers are offered at the beginning and end of each session.
