Happy Days Nursery Southam

Happy Days Nursery Southam provides childcare for children from birth to five years old, having opened its doors in October 2022. The nursery is situated on the ground floor of Warwick House on the Banbury Road, with good connections to Banbury, Rugby, Leamington Spa and the M40 motorway. Indoors, the setting offers bright and airy playrooms divided by age range, with a baby room for 0 to 2 years, a toddler room for 2 to 3 years, and a preschool room for 3 to 5 years. There is also a sensory room where children can explore textures, colours and lights, and comfortable spaces for resting and sleeping. Outdoors, a securely fenced garden allows children to run freely and take in fresh air daily, with activities set up to mirror the indoor learning experiences. Children are provided with healthy, nutritious meals throughout the day, including breakfast, a mid-morning snack, a hot lunch with dessert, an afternoon snack and a light tea. A weaning menu is available for babies, and the kitchen can cater for allergies and dietary requirements. Each child has a dedicated key worker who supports their development, and there is a parent area for discussions about progress. All staff are trained in child protection and paediatric first aid. The nursery is privately owned by Jo McCarthy, who also runs sister nurseries in Warwick and Leamington. Ample on-site free parking is available for drop-offs and collections.
