Flore Day Nursery

Flore Day Nursery is a private day nursery on Bricketts Lane in the village of Flore, Northamptonshire, and is part of the Climbing High Day Nurseries group. The nursery provides childcare for children from birth to five years old, with a total of 54 places available, and operates all year round. At the heart of the setting is a commitment to giving every child the educational foundation and emotional support needed for the best possible start in life, with a focus on creating a home from home environment. The nursery takes a neuroscience-informed approach to its curriculum, environments and interactions, believing in education based on science. Nurturing relationships are central to the setting's philosophy, with practitioners working as play specialists and co-learners rather than traditional teachers, and responding to children's behaviour in a reflective rather than reactionary way. Outdoor learning is a key part of the curriculum, allowing children to explore and engage with the natural world beyond the confines of a traditional classroom. The headteacher is Sandra Lear. Enquiries about spaces, tours and career opportunities can be made by phone or email, with a dedicated funding email address for funding queries and submission of funding codes.
