About Cenu Cacao
Cenu Cacao is a bean-to-bar chocolate shop in Leamington Spa, founded by Rosemary Ndukuba in spring 2017. It holds the distinction of being the first bean-to-bar chocolate shop in the West Midlands, and one of only a few in the country where customers can watch chocolate being made from scratch. The cacao beans are sourced from organically certified farms in Venezuela and Panama, then ground in stone grinders on the premises using traditional Aztec methods. Each batch is handmade from winnowing through to ageing, resulting in pralines, truffles, and other creations infused with the refined flavour of raw cacao. The shop also serves hot chocolate, cacao tea, coffee, and iced chocolate, with customers consistently praising the hot chocolate as exceptional. Vegan and sugar-free chocolate options are available. Beyond retail, Cenu Cacao offers custom chocolate boxes for weddings and engagement parties, corporate events including team-building and conferences, birthday and Christmas parties, hen and stag parties, and wholesale supply of raw cacao beans, drinking chocolate powder, and cacao mass to professionals and businesses.
