Cafe Cocktail

Cafe Cocktail is a family-run cocktail bar on Greenhill Street in Stratford-upon-Avon, run by directors Matthew Hiscoe and Jill Wall. By day it serves specialty coffee, small plates and casual drinks, while by evening it takes on a more sultry atmosphere with dimmed lighting and hanging flora. The bar specialises in classic and signature cocktails, with a cocktail of the week that changes regularly, alongside two craft beers on draft, a long wine list, mocktails, teas and coffee. Artisan bar snacks and small plates are available, with table service offered across both food and drinks. The interior features a charming green door, indoor florals, low wooden beams, local artwork and rustic wooden bar stools, creating an intimate space with various nooks and crannies. The bar holds live music nights and Sunday afternoon open-mic sessions. A loyalty scheme is available through the Squid Loyalty app, and gift vouchers can be purchased and personalised. Director Matthew Hiscoe trained as a chef at Wiltons, graduated from the Academy of Culinary Arts, and was the sole UK finalist at the 2007 Apprentice Chef of Europe, bringing a strong culinary background to the food offering. Deputy manager Jordan Burrows, previously at The George Townhouse and The Head of Steam, shares a passion for great coffee and refined cocktails.
