Applegarth Nurseries

Applegarth Nurseries is a garden centre and plant nursery on the edge of the Cotswolds in Chipping Norton, serving home gardeners, allotment holders and landscapers. Set up in its current form over twenty years ago, the nursery retails a complete range of garden centre stock with an emphasis on plants, much of it locally grown. The comprehensive range includes vegetable seeds, flower seeds, herbs and salad crops, as well as trees, composts, weather-proof terracotta pots, tools and growing essentials. The experienced and friendly staff offer expert help to home gardeners, while landscapers and trade customers benefit from a trade discount and a sourcing and supply service for planting schemes. For large gardens and landscapers, bulk products are available in one tonne bags, including top soil, mulch, soil conditioner and vegetable compost. Turf is stocked during the spring. A free delivery service operates for the local area. The nursery is a supporter of the Bumblebee Conservation Trust and carries an eco-friendly ethos alongside its growing and plant care range.
